OUR PROCESS / YOURABLECASE

A clear first step. A real review.

We built YOURABLECASE to make the first conversation with a disability claims team less confusing. Here is what happens when you ask for help.

THE GUIDE / 01

Tell us where you are

The online form asks whether you are exploring an initial application, waiting on a decision, appealing a denial, or dealing with another claim stage. You can select “not sure” when you do not know the program.

The form intentionally collects limited contact and claim-stage information. It does not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, medical record uploads, or banking credentials.

THE GUIDE / 02

We review the request

Your submission is sent to the private ABLECASE staff workspace, where a team member can review the submitted information, screen for conflicts, and decide whether to follow up. Not every request can be accepted.

A member of the team may contact you to verify facts and discuss the next step. Contact methods and timing depend on the firm’s process.

THE GUIDE / 03

If the firm can assist

The firm may explain possible options, request documentation through an approved secure process, and discuss a separate representation agreement. Official SSA representation and filing procedures are handled independently of the public intake.

  1. Request received

Your public form creates a lead in ABLECASE for staff review.

  2. Human follow-up

Staff can contact you and ask clarifying questions.

  3. Case accepted, if appropriate

The firm completes its engagement process before representing you.

  4. Ongoing case work

Staff may track documents, evidence, deadlines, hearings, decisions, and benefit outcomes in the private portal.

What this website does not do

  • It does not electronically submit a benefits application or appeal to the SSA
  • It does not appoint a representative or guarantee representation
  • It does not make a disability eligibility or benefit award decision
  • It does not extend, suspend, or satisfy an SSA filing deadline
